- Shave the treatment area to remove all visible hair. Make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free from products such as deodorant, moisturiser, or oil.
- Plug in your device. The indicators will light up to show it’s ready. Press the power button to select your preferred comfort mode.
- Place the device flat against the skin. Press the activation button to flash, then move to the next area. Avoid overlapping flashes.
- For large areas, glide the device while holding the activation button down. For small or sensitive areas, use the precision head and stamp method by pressing and releasing the button for each flash.
- Treat once a week for 12 weeks, then every 4–8 weeks to maintain results.
How does the patented Auto Skin Tone Sensor work?
Your skin tone varies across your body, and so should the intensity of your IPL treatment. The intelligent Skin Tone Sensor continuously reads your skin tone and automatically adjusts the intensity of every flash for safe, effective results. If an unsafe skin tone is detected, the device will not flash.
Do I need to wear eye protection?
SmoothSkin devices have been developed with safety at the forefront and are safe to use without the need for eye protection. Each device features four Skin Contact Sensors that ensure it only flashes when pressed firmly against your skin, never into the air.
