- Shave all visible hair in the area you want to treat, ensuring no hair remains above the skin’s surface. Cleanse and dry thoroughly, and don’t use any gels or creams.
- Plug in the device and press the power button to turn it on. The fans and lights will indicate it’s ready. Press again to select your preferred mode.
- Place the device firmly against your skin and press the activation button to flash. Move to the next area after each flash until fully covered. Use the stamp method for smaller areas like underarms or bikini line, or the glide method for larger areas like legs.
- Repeat once a week for 12 weeks, then maintain results with top-up sessions every 4–8 weeks.
How does Pure Adapt work?
Pure Adapt uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology to break the cycle of hair growth without damaging the skin. Your skin tone varies across your body, and so should the intensity of your IPL treatment. The intelligent Skin Tone Sensor continuously reads your skin tone and automatically adjusts the intensity of every flash for safe, effective results. If an unsafe skin tone is detected, the device will not flash.
Do I need to wear eye protection?
SmoothSkin devices have been developed with safety at the forefront and are safe to use without the need for eye protection. Each device features four Skin Contact Sensors that ensure it only flashes when pressed firmly against your skin, never into the air.
